My brain is currently experiencing an intense, caffeine induced, jittery fit. I was reading, but I couldnt stop shaking my foot enough to concentrate. I walked into downtown, a pleasant 4 blocks, and had coffee outside this new place called Kahwa. It isnt corporate, like Starbucks, yet it still posses a tolerable air of pretentiousness. I sat outside and read the "gay" issue of Creative Loafing; which I felt lacked any compelling queer insight. I transitioned to Hot Water Music when I was joined by this Asian girl who wanted to bum a cigarette. We talked for half an hour or so. Her name is Yimin, she is a machinist/ rock climber, and she invited me to a gay rock climbing event with the barista who was working. It feels good to have made some friends completely on my own.
This new life thing is really working out so far. I have an interview tonight at this swanky place of Central called The Table. Jessica is also working on getting me a job at Ceviche, which would be ideal.
Meanwhile, I have been off in lalala land. I may have found somebody worth letting myself go with. I hope so at least..
I rarely read my zodiac, but today I did. I rather enjoyed it. They incorporated some nice poetry in it..
"His heart was growing full of broken wings and artificial flowers.
In his mouth, just one small word was left."
