Alive and Kicking
Yes, I'm still alive and lurking about.
Teh fambly and I just returned on Sunday from our vacation to California.
We left late on Wednesday so that put us into town VERY late.
Thursday we spent about 6-7 hours at Mission Beach in San Diego. We built a sand kingdom and much fun and relaxation was had all.
Friday we drove up to L.A. and visited the museum at the Citizens Commission on Human Rights it was a bit disturbing yet very informative. If you guys would like to learn more about it here is the link.
That evening we had dinner in Santa Monica at the Enterprise Fish Co.. Good food decent prices; Shawn and I both had the Fried Sea Food Sampler. YUM!
Saturday we spent the day at the San Diego Zoo with Shawn's oldest sister.
And Finally on Sunday we stopped by Birch Aquarium at Scripps in La Jolla, which was about 5 - 10 minuets from where we were staying. The kids had fun and then we made our way back home to the 107 degree heat. (joy)
Now we are gearing up for our busy season of Scouts, our anniversary, my birthday, BBQ's and our favoritist holiday Halloween!
