A friendly public service announcement
To any of you in the West Nashville area, please take any valuables out of your car....My husband's car was broken into last night, along with two other cars in our apartment complex. They all had one of the windows broken completely. My husband's car had the glove compartment rifled through (no CD's taken, I guess our tastes are not mainstream enough), the middle console ripped out, the stereo (worth only $20 at this point-it's about five years old) stolen, and his briefcase was ripped apart in the side yard. I just keep joking that people must not realize that all briefcases do not hold a million dollars like in "Deal or No Deal."
I guess they're not really out for CD's, work files, or nice gloves, but they are out for stereos and wreaking havoc. Just keep your eyes open!! I called the police almost two hours ago and they are still not here. Luckily, I have a very understanding boss, but I just want to get this taken care of at this point. I know the police are busy, so I don't blame them at all.
