The Newmans are moving... AGAIN! xD
So, I just finished off playing the next chapter of the Newmans... and I realized that my game has gotten SO laggy recently! Now I remember why I never started my legacy on that 60x60 lot!
I've turned the settings down, and that's helped somewhat, but my computer just can't handle that HUGE lot. So... the Newmans are downsizing! After having a long talk with myself, I decided that legacy writing isn't about who has the biggest house, or the best pictures. It's the WORDS that make a legacy special! I also realized that the Newmans don't NEED a 9 bedroom mansion - even with 4 kids, the most they'll ever need is 6 rooms: grandparents room, parents room and one for each of the 4 children. As pretty as their current house is to LOOK at... it's a nightmare to play! All of the furniture is just gray for at least 1 minute real-time. I managed to get that down to 30-45 seconds, but the only way I'll stop this lag & slow loading completely is to give up the big lot.
So... I'd imagine that my weekend is going to be spent working on this house! I don't know if I'm going to just renovate the first gen house, or build a new one from scratch... I might also have it all on one level, as well... Oooh, decisions decisions!
So... yeah! I'm basically just rambling now, because I need something to do while I wait for these pictures to uploaddd! xD
