So, on Friday Congress passed the alleged homeowner rescue bill, and the word over the weekend was that Bush said he'd sign it "promptly" in spite of objections he has to it (chiefly, I think, that it doesn't punish people who were duped by predatory lenders for the rest of their lives, for, you know, personal responsibility reasons). I haven't seen any news that Dubya has actually signed, though...
