This seems to be standard operating procedure for the Bush administration. Highly trained CIA operatives are exposed for political revenge. Highly trained Arab-speaking members of the military are dismissed to pacify the homophobic vote. Highly trained US Attorneys fired for being unwilling to investigate people without evidence and unwilling to not investigate where there was evidence. Highly trained vets are discarded when they come back with PTSD, because fixing them would cost too much money for the low-tax fanatics to withstand. For a group who claim to be conserve-atives, they're not very good at conserving their resources, are they?
