Did You Think I Would Come Alone?
Inspired by xterm's drawble:
"Ow!" Severus dropped to his knees, one hand covering his now-bruised ear while the other checked to see if his nose was bleeding. That much-abused organ seemed to have survived Lupin's unwarranted attack, so Severus ventured a glance at the irritable werewolf.
Remus had felled Severus's companion as well. Severus gritted his teeth and stayed on the ground.
"Why, Severus? I said I would meet you, not a bloody committee."
"Did you really think I would come alone, Lupin? You're even more pathetic than I ever suspected. You might not have noticed, but there is a minor war occurring in these parts."
"Exactly." Remus pointed his wand at Severus's downed companion. "Incendio."
Severus sputtered indignantly.
"Please, Severus. Did you think I wouldn't recognize a recording golem?"
