Abby couldn’t help but laugh. Connor had a habit of carrying their baby girl the way the Americans carried their football. He was so natural at being a daddy.
Baby Nicola would want for nothing that much was evident, she’d certainly never want for her father’s attention. It was Abby’s favorite thing in the world to watch him interact with their little girl. He cooed at her, kissed her owies good-bye. He laughed and cried with her, even thought there were no words said between them. She wouldn’t have it any other way. She loved Connor and their little football.
