The idea behind a meme is that you copy the questions and post your own answers to your journal. My friend prehistoriccat is in a bit of a fic slump, so we thought it would be nice to tell her why we love her so much and why she's one of our favorite authors. :-) By all means, feel free to join in if you know and love prehistoriccat's fics!  Thanks to casy_dee and evenstar_estel  for posting

Great choices. I had a really hard time narrowing things down, too. I personally loved "The Blog" SOOO much that it almost made the list. I'm also a giant fan of "The Award" and that's probably my #3 after Bloodlines and David. Hee! This was FUN!

Thanks. I had so many more I wanted to talk about, but I was already going crazy with my choices. I think if I were to put them in order, it would be Bloodlines, Couvade Syndrome, and then maybe the Award. I don't know, it's so hard to decide among so many great fics. It has been fun, we should do this more often with each other. :-D

Oh, and I forgot to mention Mirror Image which I think the two of you should conspire on to write a sequel. Hehehehehe

I actually want to change it, but I have to go back and find the other ones she made. She has one that instead of a heart it's a little caricature of a dinosaur. It's really cute.

OK, actually, with a little creative hacking to get around our system, I can see it, but not the full sized version of it. It's freaking adorable as always. He looks smoking hot and a bit like a daredevil. :-D Thanks for the heads up.

First part is Thursday 27th, and the second the week after. Sadly, SyFy is a subscription only channel here and I don't think it gets that many viewers... It'll be interesting to see if there's a surge in Alice fics and new fans. His fame is a little different here because he's already quite well known.

I just got an email saying my copy of Jason Flemyng's film is on its way *g* ... new actor obsession. This film (Alive and Kicking) has an interesting plot, he's a dancer (prances around semi naked a lot!) living with Aids, his partner dies and he seeks solace with an older mentor who is also living with the disease. As you know, I'm a sucker for angsty/tragedy stuff so this seems right down my street

My God! That sounds depressing, right up your alley then. I have to confess, in preparation for this little exercise, I scanned through Spiraling and My Immortal. *Meep* I didn't read them, per se, but I got the gist of each one. I had to go read happy fic after just that little bit. Bad Cat! *Smacks your hand* They were so well done though. *sigh* So sad.

I can't believe they're making y'all wait a week between installments, that sucks. It aired the following night over here, IIRC. I'm interested to know if they change anything between the UK and the American editions. And yeah, I wonder if there will be a whole influx of new fans/writers. Hehehehe. He's really well know over there? That's cool. He's still not here, but I'm doing my best to remedy that with every chance I get. :-D

To say he's well known is a little exaggeration, but he is known amongst those that like Sci-fi and as "Hannah's fiance" (because really she is the famous one here)

Hannah's fiance. That's hilarious. My kids have this app on their iPhones that allows them play 20 questions with famous people. The goal is to think of a person, and by using the questions on the phone, the other kids figure out who the main kid is thinking about. They tried it with me and I stumped them with Andrew, but they got Hannah. Made me laugh.
