Normally, scouting missions were simple. You go in - check the area - and get the hell out of dodge. He's not the only one scouting the area. Granted Kaylee isn't exactly 'scouting' for anything.

Except maybe another pretty flower for her hair. There's one already perched in the messy bun she's piled her hair into. She's just out and about enjoying the (fake) sunlight and the (also fake) day. She has a large colorful parasol in one hand that she's gently twirling as she walks along.

She spots John in the distance and waves happily at him.

Truthfully he had already spotted her. The shades just hid his look as he stared for a moment at her parasol. It certainly caught someone's attention as they passed by. And hopefully wouldn't put an eye out.

But he smiled and waved in return.

Kaylee is a master wielder of her beloved parasol. No one will be harmed during her daily wanderings.

"Ya just out havin' a nice walk today too?" Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. She hopes there's more to him being out here as that'd be exciting.
