John has finally hit is annoyed point. Even with Charlie's help, his searches have been futile. So now, he's resorting to the network.

"Have any of you seen a church around this place? For the life of me, I have yet to find one and it's starting to piss me off."

Castiel actually hesitates before responding to that, remembering that this man is one of the people who witnessed him while he was inebriated that night, but he makes himself get over it.

Maybe he won't notice?

"There is one."

John can forgive anyone drunkenness, being a part-time alcoholic himself. In fact, when Castiel shows up, he smiles.

"There is? Where?"

"South," he says. "Past the library, at the end of the road."

The angel sighs a little, looking a bit unsettled. "It's... out of the way." He hasn't been inside. Probably because he's afraid of what might happen.

He nods. "South, past the library. Okay." He thinks a moment. "Been inside?"

Castiel pauses, glances down. "I haven't."

"Any particular reason why, Castiel? Or just unease?" This is something John can understand, unease. He suffers from it often enough, especially here.

[caelitus]

His eyes stay to the side. "There is no Heaven or Hell here... yet I..." he shakes his head, a fraction of a movement. "I can't."

"I know." He nods again. "Thank you for the information. I will go and look, see what there is to see."

[caelitus]

"You're welcome."

[lapsedsaint]

"There anything you'd like to know about it, while I'm in there?"

[caelitus]

Nothing John can tell him, he thinks. "No."

"All right." He pauses, then smiles. "Thanks, Castiel."
