Gwen currently has the privilege of experiencing for herself the Tablet's ability to turn on and off without provocation. She doesn't know why or what it is, but she gets angry. Maybe it's because she feels like she lost something and had the hope of it dangled in her face like a string. Maybe it's because Party's doubting her drive, and the strength of her motivations. Maybe it's because he can't know, really know, what LISA means to her, or what it's like to feel someone else's skin when it's the first time you've ever felt it, and then lose it again. Just the corner of her mouth turns upward. Not being alone? Kind of weird. She'd been doing it all her life until she met up with Connor and his gang, and even then, well...screwed them over, so she was pretty much alone then too, in the end. "I remember. I'll keep it in mind. Not used to playing with others. But," she sighs, and the next words are as sincere as she can make them. "Thank you."

"No one here's normal. I'm not. My brother isn't. Mr. Librarian's weird, and even the normal FBI types seem to be few cycles short of a temper. Be weird. Be fucking proud of it."
He tilts his head up, some, and there's barely the ghost of a smile on his face.
"Look alive, Sunshine."
