"I did, o-or I think I did. It must've snuck in, or just been under something." The world will never know. Glitch frowned and absently turned the shirt over in his hands. "At it doesn't have a hole in it, that would be worse."
Optimism: thinking of bad things that could have happened and being grateful that they didn't.

"Yeah... that would be worse. You might be able to do something about it with some bleach, but... usually this kind of thing is for keeps. If it's any consolation, it's not a bad shade of grayish-blue."

"Hmm," Glitch remarked and held up the shirt for more inspection, considering Anita's assessment. "No, it's not. And and it might go nice with her eyes. She wears it more than me these days, anyway."
There's a chance he might have started talking to himself somewhere in all that.
