It was happening again.
The pain.
The hallucinations
The hunger.
A few days ago, Rose noticed the wound on her upper back which seemed to come out of nowhere and she immediately knew what it was. But it was impossible. There weren't any werewolves here and even if there were, she knew that it was wise to stay away from them. Still, Rose couldn't deny that it looked very similar to the one she had after Jules bit her.
Then the symptoms started and Rose locked herself away in her apartment so that she wouldn't harm anyone. She couldn't risk hurting anyone even though the pain was unbearable; Rose just wanted it to end. Why did the hamsters do this to her? She didn't deserve it and neither did the residents of Taxon.
Then the hunger took over and Rose found herself outside in the forest, hunting down every animal she could just to satisfy her need. Breaking into the Salvatore house to steal their blood supply wasn't an option because she couldn't let them see her like this. Even if they would understand in a way. It felt like an admission of weakness on her part and for some reason, Rose couldn't have that.
Everything got worse as the days went on and by day four, the hunger was unbearable. Animal blood wasn't enough, Rose needed more. If she didn't get what she needed, she felt that she would just wither away and die. To hell with the consequences of drinking human blood, Rose didn't care. But it was her mind that was telling her to be like that; to not care and just go with her basic instincts to survive.
She had found herself in the mall in the centre of the city sometime later, looking for her prey. The hamster generated citizens had paid her no heed and would probably not object to being drained of their blood. Rose didn't want that. No. She wanted to hear her victims beg for their life as she drank from them, plead for her to stop until their last breath. Rose had wanted to feel them go limp in her arms then drop them to the floor when she was done with them.
A few hours had passed since she had her first taste of fresh human blood and initially, it felt good to her. She didn't kill them though, but Rose knew that they would still be quite weak. She had come to her senses in the midst of drinking from them, realising that killing them was wrong and that she had to stop before it was too late. Rose quickly cleaned the blood from her face and found herself another bottle of scotch to curb her cravings. The pain was still there but she willed herself to ignore it, trying to focus on anything but the need for blood.
She was currently pacing around her place, unaware of her tablet recording her every moments. Rose looks tired, pale and unsteady with a light sheen of perspiration all over her body. If you looked close enough you would see the rather angry looking mark on her left shoulder when she turned; it resembles something like faint claw marks.
Glass of scotch in hand, she plops down on the couch before she realises that her tablet had been recording. She frowns a little.
"You've caught me on an off day, Taxon. Lucky me."
((ooc: There you have it! First part of Rose's glitch. My apologies for only posting it now, RL got the best of me! Her next part will come in a few days time in which she'll be far worse than she is now!))
