[ welp. ]

Depending on how far back on my resume you wanna go...I've been chief adviser to the queen and realm's engineer. And and no, I'm not from Earth, and I haven't really dealt with animals unless you count running from monkey bats.

[ welcome to the wonderful world of glitch ]

Engineer? What kind of engineering?

...Monkey bats. Interesting. [He would find that to be the most intriguing part.]

Oh, most sorts. [ canon is so. vague. ] Really I was - and sort-of am again - an inventor. Kind of a non-specialized jack of all trades, ish.

[ there may be a degree of making stuff up at play, based on what glitch has been informed of his pre-lobotomy accomplishemnts. ]

And and yeah, real interesting. Beasties were about the size of a spaniel and had claws and...eugh. I prefer cats.

Would you be interested in showing off any of your inventions?

So do I. Although my taste in cats runs a bit to the larger-than-most size.

Of course! I have a shop in Speares, I'm there most days now. Name's Glitch, by the way, pleased to meet you.

[ now he is from Oz so the following is total justified. ]

Larger? S-so like...lions and tigers?

Adrian Veidt, very pleased to meet you as well. I'll be sure and stop by this shop of yours, you have me intrigued.

[a brief pause punctuated by a soft chuckle, because Adrian is used to the kind of reactions Bubastis seems to get when people first encounter her.]

Exactly like tigers, in fact, except that technically she is an Egyptian lynx. Genetically modified, of course.
