Jayne makes a beeline for the keg, filling up a cup, and then wanders over towards the host.

"How come you're wearin' a sheet?"

"How come you ain't?" Jason counters. "It's a toga party. That's kind of a rule."

Jason is clearly an expert in these things.

"The hell's a toga?" Jayne looks Jason up and down, brow furrowed in confusion. "Does in mean sheet in some other language 'er somethin'?"

"You gotta know your history, man," now there's some irony, "Greek people from the old days used to wear these things."

"Hell, I ain't got no need for history," Jayne scoffs. "But I'll tell ya this," he adds, gesturing to Jason's toga, "that getup looks mighty comfortable like."

Taking a swig of his beer, he gazed around, wanting to see if any attractive women were clad in nothing but sheets.

Did someone request an attractive woman clad in nothing but a sheet? That would be Jenny. Hi. Jayne may remember her from such adventures as Taxon Zombieland. She's currently pondering over the snacks, plastic cup of beer in hand.

Why yes, yes he did. His eyes light up at the sight and he wastes no time in heading over, because given the choice between talking to Jason in a sheet or Jenny in a sheet, he'll go with the latter.

"Well hey there. You got one of them toga things on too."

[timedaughter]

Jenny smiles, remembering Jayne as the guy with the cool guns.

"Sure do. Didn't know what they were until yesterday, I had to look them up. No toga for you?"

[mercenaryacare]

"Nah. Didn't know what they were neither, and didn't much care. But hell, iffen I knew they was just sheets, I woulda grabbed those off my bed." He glances around, then back to her. "Feel sorta... under dressed."
