008: [visual] Party at The Bronze

Jun 01, 2009 18:06

If people are watching the tablets, they'll see Dean, lounging on a stool. He looks relaxed, totally sprawled out with a cocky grin on his face. The tablet's set to visual, so all that can be seen is him and a bit of the club in the background, which looks like The Bronze. Since this is the only club like place Dean has been to in Taxon, he figures ( Read more... )

Brigitta does not like parties on principle, an opinion formed on the fact that most demon attacks seem to happen at something at least vaguely like a party... But she is rather fond of booze, and the music sounded good over her Tablet, and really booze and good music (plus somebody she's already met) are ways to draw her to places.

So! She's at The Bronze, picking her way over to the booze (and Dean, of course) and looking only a little apprehensive, she's trying to convince herself that the chances of demons attacking here are very low... Her sword is still somewhere on her though, and there's probably a knife or two under her clothes just in case.

"Nice music."

Oh, Dean remembers her, and while he knows she pretty much only knows him as a six year old, this is his chance to change that impression. God, Dean so does not want to be known as 'that guy who was six once'. Terrible, terrible reputation with the ladies.

And Brigitta's not alone in the whole 'demons are everywhere' thing. He's got a vial of salt and a flask of holy water in his pockets. Plus a gun shoved into the back of his jeans, but that one's a secret.

"Damn straight it's nice music. Beats what was on before," Dean replies, grinning and pulling out a beer to hand to her.

Brigitta really doesn't mind actually, this place is weird enough anyway and in her eyes turning into a six year old is almost cute, he seemed a smart six year old anyway and a bold one too, she just hopes that he's kept hose traits now that he's older again, she likes bold people.

At least they'll be prepared if any kind of demons show up, it's always best to cover all angles after all.

"What was on before?" Brigitta smirks, taking the bottle gratefully, she isn't a alcoholic or anything but beer is nice, she doesn't care that the waters improved enough to make it healthier then beer these days, sometimes you just need to drink.

Dean doesn't want to be seen as cute. Handsome is good, but cute? Reminiscent of that six year old he'd just been. Nooo thank you. But he can do the bold thing. That's how he is.

No kidding. They'd make a kick ass demon fighting team.

"Some kind of pop-rock. Blink 180. Or whatever." Dean shrugs. He doesn't care. "Doesn't matter. Led Zeppelin rules."

Well, he's starting to work his way up to handsome, slowly but surely... It probably doesn't help that Brigitta's first impression of him was that he was cute and she tends to always judge on first impressions, he should be able to work on her though, probably.

Indeed they would, the combination of two fairly angry people with gun and sword is enough to send most sane demons running, it'd almost be amusing... Actually, it would be amusing.

"Ah" Brigitta nods slightly, starting to sip at her beer absently, pop-rock isn't really her thing, big dramatic drums and roaring suit her tastes a lot more, though really she can get behind most kinds of rock "Haven't listened to much I'm afraid."

Oh, don't worry; he'll be working very hard on that first impression thing. He's hoping the booze and club setting will help. No way in hell a six year old would be in here. And no way in hell would a six year old be getting drunk.

Dean would totally be behind that plan in an instant. Hunting demons is exactly Dean's sort of relaxation time. Weird as that sounds.

Pop rock isn't Dean's kind of thing either. "Haven't listened to much what, Led Zeppelin? Oh, man," Dean shakes his head. "What do they teach these kids these days?"

Way to sound like an old fart, Dean-o.

It doesn't sound weird to Brigitta, considering that her idea of relaxing is either drinking and making up plans to squish demons or practicing to fight demons... Yeah, demon hunting sounds a fun way to spend most days.

Sanity, Brigitta has a slightly twisted version of it.

It's probably a good thing that Brigitta has already decided that Dean's a okay guy, or else she might've punched him for considering her a kid in any way, sure she looks around nineteen but that's only because whatever decided to bring her back decided to bring her back at the rough age of her death, not that she minds not looking like the average five thousand year old, it just can make it really hard to be taken seriously and to get a decent drink.

As it is she just smirks slightly at that and shakes her head "I've been busy I'm afraid, at least I have more time to get into proper music here."

Same for Dean. He's actually been sort of bored here at times, despite having his family around, and so beating the crap out of demons would be a nice reliever. He'd been using the Holodeck for that before, but he'd forgotten about it.

Brigitta probably should mention that, because Dean's around thirty and he's feeling a bit old, at the moment. Especially since about half the people stopping by have been about half his age.

"Well, we've got all the time in the world now, don't we? I'll just have to introduce you to the classics."

Brigitta... Has been a little bit bored, after she finished exploring mostly everywhere and summarised that there was no obvious way out boredom did rather set in, luckily there are other people around who she is able to talk to, that makes this situation so much better.

It's good not to be alone.

Unfortunately Brigitta isn't really comfortable with mentioning that, the fact that most people her age are kind of dust and had grandchildren several millennia ago does not make her feel that good, she doesn't much like feeling ancient even if it is rather true.

"Yeah, with no distractions" Brigitta smirks just slightly "should be fun."
