Noting the streets on the map, she crossed over here and there, only a few blocks away from Rose now.
"Very much so. Though the tram gets you where you want to go pretty easily too. Nearly to you now."

Rose was looking forward to meeting Amy in person, feeling very pleased at the moment.
"I didn't even know about the tram," she admitted. "Still getting used to this place I suppose."

Coming to the last street, Amy looked out over the beautiful field on the edge of town. A quick look at the map turned her in the right direction and soon she spotted Rose in person.
"Ah, here you are. Hello!" She waved, arm extended up all the way and voice carrying.

Rose saw Amy before she was even near the field: being a vampire had its perks sometimes. Standing up, she began to make her way closer to the other girl.
"Hello, Amy," she replied, giving her a little wave back.

Switching off her tablet, Amy jogged over the rest of the distance. "Hello! This is what you came with?" She gestured around to the field. "Impressive."

Rose did the same, switching off the device she held in her hand. "It's a place from back home. One of my favourite places actually." She smiled a little. "Thank you, Amy."

"Are you a time traveller then, Amy?"

"Sure am! I have this friend who's an alien -- not one of these kidnapping ones -- but another type, and he has this spaceship-time machine. I've been to all sorts of planets and times." Her eyes naturally drifted up to look at the fake Taxon sky. Beyond that, she'd heard, was a cave ceiling, and beyond that, the surface of some alien planet. But beyond that, was space, her playground.

"That's incredible. You must have seen all kinds of things." She herself had seen many, many things but that's what happened when you've lived for so long. Rose briefly looked up, enjoying the warmth of the sun, even if it was fake.
