When Eric walked outside that morning (he was no longer compelled to sleep during this time, with the fake sun and all) it was to a completely white covered scene. It must have snowed while he slept. A lot. There was at least a foot of snow in the yard. It was kind of nice to see, actually. It reminded him of when he was younger and still lived in parts of the world where snow was a regular occurrence during the winter months.
Deciding it would probably be a good idea to shovel some of the snow off the sidewalk, something he hadn't had to do in a very long time, Eric started the trek across the lawn toward the garage. A snow shovel had appeared there when the first day of snow arrived this month, so it was about time it got some use.
As he trudged through the snow, a sort of tingling sensation passed through him. Not unpleasant and more of an emotion than actual tingling, and it kind of confused him a moment. He felt good. Happy. Like he did when he was a child and used to play with his friends after the first snowfall. Before he even knew what he was doing or even cared that he was doing it, he fell back in the snow like a giant Viking tree and began making a snow angel. He had a happy grin on his face while his legs and arms moved. It was amazing that such a simple thing could be so much fun, but it was.
[ooc: This is sort of a prelude to an accidental video post, which will be posted by Zee, in which stuff will be witnessed by everyone on the tablet/network thing.]
