005 [visual] three chords and the truth

While the economy was down, Fitz had helped himself to enough musical equipment to set up a small, makeshift studio in his flat's spare room. He'd picked up an acoustic and a bass guitar, some amps, and a reel-to-reel recorder, not a bad start if he said so himself.

The fact was is left hand still wasn't 100%, that would only improve with practice, and if he was going to practice he may as well have an audience. So he set his tablet to visual and ran through the chorus of "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place" on the acoustic before giving his viewers a grin.

"Good evening, Taxon," he began with his best radio announcer enunciation, then continued in his normal tone. "This is Fitz Fortune: Unplugged. I am taking requests, so long as it isn't bloody 'Freebird'." Pause. "Actually I'm a bit shaky on anything from after 1969, but I'm willing to give it a go if you don't mind a lot of improv."
