Well, I have this friend. Let's call her 'Emma'. Say if Emma happened to be just a little bit deceased, but couldn't... you know, pass onto the 'next life' or get reincarnated as a tree frog or whatever, do you think you could teach Emma how to do all that time travel death-defying business?

No. Unless Emma is Kryptonian, and even then I don't have the right stuff, plus, it's not like I was trapped between worlds, I was dead, just... fixable, I guess.

I know a lot of people who've come back. I mean, one of my best friends used to be a ghost.

"Nice to meet you too, Kon." Annie replies, switching to visual to make the introduction thing a bit more personal.

"See, that's what I'm having problems with. Where I'm from, you die, and then if you haven't got any 'unfinished business' you move on. There's no return trips back."

Kon also switches to visual and grins at her. "You too. Hi, Annie."

He nods. "Yeah, it's not like that where I'm from. A lot of people come back. I did, my friend Kid Flash did. Superman. Lots of people." He looks down for a second. "Not everyone."

Annie smiles back, in her habitual bubbly way, in spite of her disappointment.

"Sorry," she offers, noticing his little look down. Timely subject change to avoid depressing territory?

"Kid Flash? Superman? Your friends have some... interesting names."

"Well, you know how it is. Superheroes." He grins and floats up a little. "I'm also Superboy. I'm Superman's clone. Kid Flash is really, really fast. Me and Superman both have tons of different powers, like flight and strength and heat vision."
