We're working on it, but this place isn't giving us any information to use.

Miss, I must say, we is not terribly specific.

I can't be specific unless I know the names of everyone who wants to get out of here, and I don't.

I'm Claire Bennet. My biological father is Nathan Petrelli. We've both been trying to figure it out.

I honestly would have guessed that it was everyone. Of course, I have no idea.

Nice to meet you, Miss Claire Bennet. John Everton.

Not everyone. I've talked to people who like it here.

You can drop the "miss", but it's nice to meet you, too.

Interesting.

Sorry. Professional habit. I'm working on it.

So, how long have you been here?

That's okay.

A few weeks, I think. We had one day that was kind of weird. I'm still waiting for someone to wake me up.

I heard some talk about that day. I really need to get someone to sit down and tell me exactly what they saw.

I must say I'm relieved that I'm not the only one who was thinking this had to be a dream.

I can tell you. The sky turned into a big cave and our communicators went crazy. Then the sun came out.

You're not. Weird things happen all the time in my world, but never anything like this.

[There are sounds of shuffling, then he speaks again, much more business.]

Could you tell me exactly what happened before, during, and after? With as much detail as you can recall, even if you think it's inconsequential.

Nothing out of the ordinary was happening before that, it was just a regular night here. And it was late, I was walking home from the cantina. The sky went away, it was all rocks, and then it was daylight.

So it was the whole sky? Not just a section of it? How long did it last, the lack of sky?

thecheerleader May 19 2009, 20:51:45 UTC
It was as much of the sky as I could see. It only lasted for a couple of seconds.
