On your video screens right now is an extremely no-nonsense Daniel Jackson. He's determined, both intent on seeming as calm as possible and rushing to get this information out to everyone as soon as possible. It's just another day at the office, sure, but Qetesh is supposed to be gone, dead, not inside Vala and attempting to reign over the entire city of Taxon. He understands people, and he knows that if they endanger themselves by confronting her, then someone is going to die. And by God, after losing Sha're to the Goa'uld, he is not about to let Vala suffer the same fate. As for the people here... he's seen so many people die, he's going to try his damndest not to let these ones down.
"Hi, everyone. This is Dr. Daniel Jackson, and I have an extremely important announcement to make, so please pay attention.
"Doubtlessly most of you caught that, ah, speech earlier from a woman calling herself Qetesh - or, as some of you already know her, from Vala acting very unlike herself. I need to urge you not to talk to her. Don't confront her, don't piss her off, don't - anything. Right now Vala has an alien parasite inside of her called a Goa'uld. These things are extremely intelligent, hateful, violent and megalomaniacal, and if anyone - human or otherwise - stands in the way of them attaining power, they won't hesitate to kill you. This is why I need you to stay away, even if you have a means of self-defense. Vala is still in there, and however that parasite managed to get inside her, whether by some freakish coincidence or for the same reason other people here have been affected strangely over the last couple of weeks, I don't know. But this is going to be complicated because we can't let her get hurt.
"There are a couple of us here that are... ah, very experienced with Goa'uld who lay claim to planets like this. We're going to try to get her quarantined until we can figure out what to do next, but until then I'm advising you to be very, very careful. She has a device that can and will kill or seriously harm anyone she turns it on."
He sighs.
"I'm very sorry about this, but we're doing our best to get it under control before she can do any real damage. Thanks."
