She's pretty sure she can hold a shield around a small area; maybe a closet. But Tara's also not the type to start the spell before she finds anyone she can to shield with her. It's not perfect, but somehow she prefers it to the vampire spaceship idea on first blush.

She turns a corner and spots an unfamiliar woman. Piper runs to her. "Hey, did you-- we have to go, now."

She looks around her. Just where is the exit anyway? She should have familiarized herself with the castle instead of hiding herself in her room - but regrets are useless, now. "Come on. We should leave, too."

She looks around her again. "I don't really know where the exit is. Maybe we should go and find it together."

Tara can see Piper has magical potential, but no idea whether she can control it, or even knows about it. But this situation firmly counts as an "emergency." Taking a breath, she concentrates and murmurs "Aradia, Goddess of the lost, the path is murky, the woods are dense, darkness pervades, I beseech thee, bring the light."
A small, firefly-like light appears in front of them, bobbing slightly. Tara looks... almost embarrassed, but says, "Follow this. It'll show you the way, at least out of the castle."
