Anyone who may have been fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to have seen McCoy lately might have noticed his fabulous break-up beard (circa 2255!) after his bout of hermit tendencies lately. If not, that's a shame! Because all that is about to change today as he decides to finally shave it off after Kirk's constant nagging at him about being out of regulations.
That will be the official story anyway, since frankly? He is sick of having a beard; they are always far too itchy for his liking and he is in higher spirits than he has been lately which means, sadly, the beard has to go. He secures one of the bathrooms on their floor in Castle Summers in order to do this, unbeknownst that the tablet has decided to broadcast this monotonous activity of a grown man shaving off his beloved break-up beard. It was a boring segment until one of the blades snagged against his skin and the resulting explosion from the surly southern man.
"Ow. Ow! Goddamn it, stupid piece of..." He wanders away from the tablet mid-curse holding wiping at one side of his face, but he can be heard to continue to mutter a stream of obscenities in the background as he finds something to stem the flow of blood.
