New Years Eve.

Levi is ready, decked out in his party suit, and a lot of makeup. He's just finished his preparations, and he's sitting in his living room, waiting patiently for Cordelia to arrive, and then the guests. Of course, the party isn't taking place in his living room. That's much too small for such a large event ( Read more... )

Black isn't a bad color, by any means. Levi enjoys the color, probably wears a bit too much of it as well, but hey, he's fashionable. As long as he looks good, he doesn't care. And usually, black against his pale skin looks pretty damn good, so he sticks with what works. But, white is a fantastic color as well, though he definitely likes it better on others. Angel is no exception, and Levi's not going to let the guy get away with lurking when he's wearing such a good color.

The whole wallflower thing isn't going to fly. Not at Levi's party. So he slides up next to Angel, holding two wine glasses, one for him and one for Angel. He offers Angel the wineglass with pig's blood, having heard Cordelia talk about it before, and grins.

"You could go talk to her, rather than skulking in the corner," Levi tells Angel, smirking.

"No problem," Levi replies mildly. Absently, he's wondering how old Angel is. Really, Levi expects that he's the youngest vampire here, because he always is. Still, it's always fun to know those kinds of thing, especially because Levi is nosy, and enjoys history. It's a combination to be feared.

"Come now, Angel, honey. It's really sort of obvious," Levi hums. Or maybe it is just to him. He's spent enough time around Cordelia to figure out something is going on. "Go ask Cordelia to dance. I'm sure she won't object."

"... Would you rather I call you Kitten?" Levi asks, trying not to grin. It's a habit, calling people 'honey' or 'sweetheart'. And he's not going to stop, because he loves the reactions he gets. As for Cordelia and Angel's... situation:

"No, I wouldn't imagine you are to others. But I've spent some time around Cordelia, and the way she talks about you is evidence. And now that I've seen the other side of it, or, you lurking around back here, waiting to ask her to dance, I've decided to nudge things along." Because Levi is irritating like that. "Go on, handsome, before someone asks her to dance first."

Griiiiin.

Annoying people is one of Levi's strong suits. He smirks when Angel looks annoyed by the question, amused. It's like calling Ethan sweetheart; never enough to piss him off, never gets old.

"Something like that," he replies, grinning. Levi takes the glass and sets it aside, watching Angel head off toward Cordelia, and laughs to himself.

"Go get 'er, tiger," Levi calls after him, before heading off back to the bar.

He was dressed in white. That was wicked of him. That was a lie. If he opened his mouth, Drusilla was sure that she'd see a tongue black as coal and cracked across. White was for innocence. Even she shouldn't wear it, but some habits were hard to break. The white - stained long ago - had stuck to her.

On bare feet, Drusilla padded across the room towards him but didn't approach. What would he say to her? Would he even look?
