Maybe it was odd for Helen to give gifts to the people she had surrounded herself with. Most of them, she had only known for a few months. "Mornin'," he said as he stifled a yawn, setting the box on the cushion next to him. It took a few sips of coffee and some dedicated eye-rubbing before he remembered there was more to be done with the box. "Oh, right, uh."
He grabbed the box up again, almost spilling his coffee all over it. it was wrapped in simple white paper with a gold ribbon. "Merry Christmas, and all that," he mumbled before ducking his head, embarrassed.

"Thank you, Bruce," she took the box very carefully and gently, "Did you sleep well?"

"Oh, yeah, I just," Bruce said from behind his hand to cover another yawn. "Never really been a morning person. Ever." He took another swig of coffee, watching Helen unwrap the box. Her finger moved under the seam of the wrapping paper and made a quick motion down. The tape came off easily for her to remove the rest of the paper from the gift. She then opened the box, putting the lid to the side as she peaked insider. Her eyes widened at the long Burberry Coat.
Helen stood from leaning against the desk and slipped it on, flicking her hair out so it laid against the coat as opposed to inside it. She smiled as she made a full turn to look at it.
"You have a wonderful taste for coats. It's lovely."

She knocked on the door of Helens office, with a carefully decorated box that contained a dragonfly wind chime inside of it. Hatching the present had been too easy for Claire's liking, so she had decorated the box herself and then tied a gold ribbon into a bow on top of it, for the sake of looking festive. She'd already come to terms with the idea that Helen must have owned everything she wanted, but it was Christmas. That meant cluttering up the Sanctuary with new things, whether she needed them or not.

And even though Helen still scared her a little, she'd actually tell her to stop if she had to. "I was playing with Gabriel or I would have come by after breakfast. Nathan and I put together this train set..." Which really had nothing to do with anything, she'd just enjoyed spending time with him. "I think he really likes it."
