"If you had just turned left when I told you, this never would have --" Elle stopped short, eyes opening mid-rant at Sylar to find that she was no longer sitting in the car, but on a raised platform that she'd never seen before. Well, that was weird. Trying to avoid becoming hysteric, she climbed to her feet, walking around, just to the edge of it at first as she considered braving the rest of the room. Well. Being reckless had always been one of her worse traits, after all. She barreled headlong into the room, nosing around and feeling up the walls.
"Gabriel, I'm not going to stop yelling just because you put me in an illusion. I don't know where you picked this one up, but it's really annoying." A pause. "Gabriel? Gabriel!" She pounded a fist on the wall, stepping back and reaching out with her right hand to shock the wall angrily, stopping mid-blast when she saw the bracelet, which she proceeded to examine with great interest. In its reflection she noticed the pedestal to her left. Turning she headed over, picking up the tablet.
"Well, that's weird." This time, it came out aloud. She turned the tablet over in her hands, inspecting it. "So, what, are you just going to keep me here until I forget that you drove twenty minutes in the wrong direction? Maybe you could have used that ability of yours with using a road map?" She dropped the tablet back onto the pedestal, deciding it wasn't worth her time, going back to trying to get out of the room. Pulling and pushing and throwing herself against the doors, she found they wouldn't budge. Elle pursed her lips.
"You can't keep me locked in here forever!" Another charge of electricity flashed out of her hands, this time aimed at the doors -- to no avail. Collapsing to the floor, Elle decided to attempt waiting him out, but it was far from productive due to a combination of her short attention span and her already shortened temper. She clambered back to her feet after only five minutes and went back to the pedestal. If that was the only object in the room, she was going to make some use of it -- to entertain herself until he let her out, if nothing else. Messing with a few touch buttons on it -- "Cool," she breathed excitedly as she realized it was touch-operated -- Elle jumped when a three dimensional map was projected above the tablet, dropping it and stepping back. It looked like the room she was in, but it was part of a bigger building, and that building had a way out.
Okay. So, maybe it wasn't Gabriel's fault. Maybe.
