Well, Xander was one person again, and that was a plus. A very big plus. One of the biggest that he could think of. So really? He shouldn't have been upset, at all

If she weren't 99.99% sure she's awake right now, she'd think this was a dream. After weeks of no Xander, she'd almost given up on seeing him again, had almost gotten used to the depressing feeling of not being able to share a joke with him, or get into ridiculous nonsensical banter, or to hug him. So, this right here? Is Buffy's indescribably happy face. It's also her walking incredibly fast out of the castle, on her way to the nearest tram to the Sanctuary to come meet him.
"Xander, I'm over here! The Blackberry-looking thing on the table."
Oh. Right there. Next to him. He picks it up, examining it for a minute. "Since when did we go super hi-tech? I mean, it's nifty and everything, but there's a reason I stick to a nice simple flip phone, Buffy." He starts rambling automatically, not really sure if what he's saying fits the situation, or masks his semi-growing panic.
But seeing Buffy smile like that makes him smile a little. He can't help it. "There you are, all in the the screen and smallish. Where are you?"
Someday he'd get used to the little holograms and pictures and things that popped up from the tablet at random. As it was, Glitch reacted pretty much the same way every time: "Oh!" and then "Hello!" and then he'd remember that the silly thing did this every now and again, and that the other person couldn't hear him unless he switched it to a function on his end.
This time he stopped and marveled a bit, since this guy seemed to do just about as much babbling and trailing off as he himself did. Finally, though, he had to intercede.
"I'm sorry, but...kinky sex thing? That-that's a little uncalled for."
"I agree, it's really uncalled for, but then again, so is a strange bracelet thing..." Xander stops, thinks about what he's saying, and then adds, "Who are you?"
Glitch blanked out for a moment, then glanced at his own wrist and blinked, startled. "Oh! Bracelet, right, everyone gets one. It's...it's not kinky." He really needed to wade back out of that aspect of the conversation, for everyone's sake.
"And, um, the name's Glitch and you're..." Trailing off, see? "You just got here. Hello."
Pam still hadn't figured out if there was a way to turn off the random holographic messages or images or videos on her weird device. It tended to catch her off guard and scare her a little until she realized where the distant voice was coming from. Every time. Including this one.
Usually she'd just ignore them. Surely there were other people that would help them, right? Pam had no qualifications to help anyone when they seemed to first 'arrive' here... But, this time, she couldn't help herself. The man's weird speech had made her giggle.
She switched her device to the visual setting and responded to him, "Hello? Are you alright?"
"Kinky sex thing would make this so much easier to explain."
Abby had been stalking the tablet feeds ever since her attack, keeping an eye out on Taxon. It was strange to see the holographic image popping out at her, but she was getting used to all of its functions. Perched on her chair near her computer, Abby grabbed a Caf Pow and sipped at it before she even tried to figure out how to explain Taxon.
"No, it's more like a glorified kidnapping, the way I hear others describe it. No clue why we're here or what the point is, but there are some comforts of home, and if you're lucky, you may know some people hanging around." She hadn't quite reached the point of realizing that there might also be some people he wouldn't want to see, but those were just details.
"I'm Abby, by the way. Abby Sciuto." She flashed him a smile.
[... Okay, so Dean is TOTALLY amused that Xander's talking about collars. What is it with the Scoobies and innuendo that Dean can use to his advantage? Really.]
Didn't know you were into that kinda thing, Xander.
[Dean's just glad Xander's back... but why was he acting like he had no idea where he was?]
