Anna had been in a rut. As much as an angel, who had been around since the beginning of time, had seen everything, could be. She'd actually gone as far as showering and changing her clothes. Uhura was out, too, looking around for Gaila. She hadn't seen her friend in a few days and was getting very worried. She probably could have looked her location up on the tablet, but...she didn't. She didn't want to be told by her tablet that her friend wasn't there anymore.

If that was even the case. It might not have been.

She spotted a flash of brilliant red hair as she walked and almost ran over to the girl, but realized quickly that the skintone was completely wrong. Still, she nodded politely to her as she walked by.

"Hello."

Anna heard the rush of footsteps, then their falter. Turning her head, Anna looked to Uhura, arching an eyebrow just slightly. "Hello."

Studying the young woman's face, she noted the concern. Anna tilted her head to the side. "Is there something I can help you with?"

"No, sorry. I just saw your hair and thought you might be a friend of mine for a second - hers is about the same color as yours," Uhura explained.

"And here I was, thinking I was the only person with this shade of red," Anna said with a small smile. "Has it been very long since you last saw her?"

"A few days," she answered. "I thought she might be exploring or visiting people, but I'm starting to get worried."

"Have you tried calling her? Or looking for her on the map?" Anna asked, pulling her own tablet out, bringing up the map function.

Uhura shook her head no. "No, I...I'd rather look first. See if I can find her in person."

"But wouldn't it be faster to call then meet up in person?" Anna asked. It was easy for her, with her angel teleport-y thing. Most people weren't that lucky.

Uhura nodded. "It would be, but I don't..."

She took a deep breath and let it out in a sigh. "If she's gone...if whatever brought us here sent her back to where she was...I don't want to know. Not yet."

"Oh, I see," Anna nodded, a small frown furrowing her forehead. "I'm sorry."

"I hope you find her," Anna said quietly, turning the tablet screen back off, returning it to her coat pocket.

Uhura nodded, smiling gratefully at the girl. "Thank you."

There was a pause, and then another smile, this one a little more apologetic. "I'm sorry, I haven't even introduced myself. I'm Uhura."

"Anna," she said simply, with another nod. "Nice to meet you."
