Gaila ran as fast as her legs would carry her; it wasn't easy - her costume bottom was so narrow, even pulled up and ripped in some areas. She looked ridiculous. But terrified and pumped with adrenaline, she couldn't even think of that.
Just of the giant monster she had seen, how ferocious it had been. And Godric. Gaila had looked back once and wanted to run back to help. She knew better, though; she would have been completely useless. Still, Gaila felt guilty and could only reassure herself with the vague knowledge Vampires were immortal...whatever that meant in context of a hulking monster.
Leaning against a building wall, Gaila breathed frantically, sucking in as much air into her lungs as possible. She glanced about the street, too, in hopes there would be someone to help.
