007: [location: Serenity] & accidental [voice]
After Mal had discovered that morning, upon making his general customary rounds of Serenity, that Inara's shuttle had vanished from the ship, leaving behind no remnant-- and after he'd subsequently combed the ship for any trace of her, found nothing, then scanned the tablet map time after time for her name and dot-- and after that when he'd returned to his bunk and promptly smashed approximately everything he owned to pieces, and after that, when finally he sat down in silence-- it was then that he noticed he'd cut his hand in quite a substantial way, somewhere along the line. Probably the smashing part.
The pain didn't particularly bother him, and nor did the blood. It was really more just the fact that it happened to be the cherry on top of an exceptionally crappy cake.
"Cào nĭ zŭxiān shí bă dai*." He mutters, unaware that the tablet is happily recording him and his generalized obscenities.
