"Where? I'll come see it." Godric was just out and about, exploring and getting his bearings. He could easily take a detour, and it wasn't difficult to tell that Eric had done this now, when he'd been previously content with Fangtasia, in order to please him.

"South Osten. Up the road from the Fangtasia." He stood at the end of the driveway, looking back to the bar. It was a reasonable distance from it, which just made things easier. Almost too good to be true. Minus the whole abduction thing.

Buffy doesn't know who this guy is, she doesn't know what this bar is, but a hilariously bad pun requires no familiarity to warrant her commenting on it. Also, just by looking at Eric she can tell he's a vampire (Slayers are good like that) and that's very interesting.
