001: [holo] Oh, boy, the fun hasn't even started yet.

He’d been slamming his foot on the gas, as if he could just speed on past all of it.  Sookie cast him a little worried glance now and then, but he kept his eyes nailed to the road ahead of them.  There wasn’t time for commiserating, no time for discussing how he’d completely fallen apart back there, no time for realizing how much Eric messed with his mind.

The only thing they had time for was getting to Sookie’s house and blowing that bitch’s head clean off.

The car came to a stop, but when Lafayette got out and slammed the door shut, he turned to face the circular walls of a very strange room.  Taking a step back to resist the unfamiliarity, he turns around to find the car, the gun, and Sookie-all gone.  He's now in Taxon, ladies and gentleman.  “…The fuck?” He mumbles, putting a hand up on what used to be the driver’s side door and feeling nothing but thin air.

He spins around again, but now sheer panic is written on his face.  He remembers the last time he woke up in an unfamiliar place, and that had been hell.  “No fuckin’ way,” he says, shaking his head in denial.  “No way, I ain’t doin’ this shit again.”

But something is off.  There isn’t a bruise on his body.  There are no chains, no bucket, and no dirty floor.  And there is a phone on a pedestal near him.  This isn’t vampires.  Vampires don’t waste their time with all this.  “I…I know what this is,” he says, trying to muster up some confidence and bravado despite the shaking in his voice.  “This is mind games.  And only one bitch in Bon Temps be draggin’ her ugly white ass all up in people minds.  Well, you can get the fuck out.  I ain’t playin’.”

There’s no answer, and Lafayette closes his eyes to try to regain some sense of control.  If he’s here, where’s Sookie?

“Look here,” he calls out at a ceiling that has no answers.  “I’ma need someone to tell me where the fuck I am and what the damn twilight zone shit I walked myself into.  I was in the middle of somethin’, understand me?”
