John can watch
All day
As Paul skips along
The warm sands of the beach
He's giggling
Touching
George
Then running away
And George will chase after
Hot on his heels,
Before he brings him in
For that brotherly
Embrace.
John smiles
His heart secretly busts
Paul,
His bright eyes
Flutter shut
And he snuggles into
The skinny boy's chest.
And the moment is perfect.
Dribbles
Of vanilla cream
Run down Paul's wrist
He licks the sweet substance
John steals the cone away.
Paul pouts
That genuine pout
John grins
That mischevious grin.
John wipes his finger
Over top of the ice cream,
Smears it on Paul's chubby cheek.
A whine,
A messy throw,
Another whine,
A crash of waves.
He can see
George and Ringo
Off in the distance
Playing
With the crystal
Water,
The ripples
Breaking like
Glass.
Ringo pulls
George
In for a hurried kiss,
Protective,
And almost posessive.
John shuffles
Towards Paul
Who stands
And lets the waves
Lap at his ankles.
John reaches out
Grabs Paul's
Feminine hands
And breaks them up
Towards his collarbone.
"I think..."
John presses
Paul waits
"I think you're
Beautiful."
