Lee's character isn't making sense, again. I get that he loves Kara, and who doesn't? But he's also the rational one, so being at least slightly skeptical would have been coherent. Especially considering that he's the one who saw Kara's viper explode live. But hey, don't let me chew my bitterness about how they keep screwing up this character.
On the opposite, Kara Frakking Thrace is still being Kara Frakking Thrace:
'If I found out that you were a Cylon, I would put a bullet between your eyes.'
Cylon or not, THAT'S MY GIRL!
And finally,
Because the main point is that two of the strongest female characters on TV were put together in a scene where one is trying to kill the other.
That's what good television is made of.
