A Rancid Pre-Review
yes yes its true. Rancid will have a new record out soon. and im gunna lay some facts down on you. its gunna be awesome. In My opinion the only bad Rancid record would be a live record. but even then. yes we all know Rancid is not usually up to par l;ive. but thats okay. they are Rancid. to a street punk as myself i consider Rancid is to Punk as Michael Jordan is to basketball. this band can put out a fucking record. these are some facts(possibly fiction?) about the new record.
1.It will be titled Indestructable
2.It hits stores AUGUST 19TH
3.Matt Freeman doesnt sing on it. or atleast what i heard from cory marz. i was hoping for another Brown Derby Jacket-esq song. i think i'll live
4. Its going to have sort of a Life Wont Wait sound. (organs and whatnot)
5. the single thats on the radio is called Fall Back Down. i suggest if you listen to the radio at all. mainly the alt rock/punk station. you request this!
6.Tim Armstrong can still pull it together vocally on the record. or as far as ive heard.
7. its gotta be said but here it goes... its being released on a major label. but i dont care if it was released on Drive-Thru records. id buy it either way. who cares who the money goes to? i dont. i just want the music. and id be willing to pay $18 if thats what its gunna cost, but thats cool by me. its fucking Rancid
