I thought I understood cold pretty well. Living for most of my life in northern climates, I figured I "knew cold."
Until this morning.
My weather station showed me -24F. The car thermometer showed -22F. Yikes. Easily the coldest temps I've ever been in. EVAR.
For the first time, in the 6 years I've owned her, my Subaru Outback *almost* didn't turn over. And she spat profanities at me for a few miles, tires still frozen. I think the in-dash stereo was trying to flip me the bird, but was frozen in "AUX1."
It was like "The Day After Tomorrow the Day After Hell Froze Over vs. Mothra."
