Last night I slept like hell....utter hell. Scared the crap outta me when I woke around 1am dripping sweat, super nauseous, difficulty breathing and extremely lightheaded. I kid you not that I crawled into my son's room and pounded on his bed to get his attention since I couldnt talk. I was prepared for him to call 911 if it didnt pass, but luckily it did.
Wanted to sleep in extra today but someone decided that 7:45am was an ideal time to start pounding. I dawdled around for awhile washed dishes, cleaning the bathroom, watered the plants, etc and then got into the shower. Alex and Blanca were both supposed to be here at noon but both were late. We grabbed Jamba and went to Vasona to walk around the lake. So pretty but the trees were killing my allergies and there was a Persian Festival going on so we opted to go shopping instead. Ended up at Westgate and I found a watering pot (was using a sports bottle), picture frame for my Dad's poem, new shower curtain, and cutting board set at Ross all for $24! We then zipped over to Burlington Coat Factory and I bought a new dress. Stopped at the pet store for crickets and worms and then came back here. They both left and so I vegged for a bit and then dropped off my son's meds at work for him and exchanged the rotten milk at Safeway. This is twice now that I have had to do this since it tastes like blue cheese! Blech!
Last night I put on my new couch cover and its amazing!! So easy too, no swearing needed. Its a 2 piece chocolate brown microsuede. Now I just need to pain the wall behind the couch as an accent wall and I am done with my livingroom beyond getting the carpet and area rugs cleaned professionally.
Puck drops in 30 minutes and I am wearing my good mojo socks and chonies. :)
Tomorrow I want to dump some stuff at Goodwill and then I have the Cruise Party to attend and the puck drops at 5pm.
I did figure out more angles for the med bennies for my son, thanks to Amber! Apparently you can get them through the maker. I looked them up and they offer a program. Whew! Also waiting for social worker to see if we qualify for CCS. Ironically I came home to a message from the rep at SSI asking me to call her back. I will, but it best not be another slap in the face or I will take the time to rip her a new one and let her know that my son's blood will be on her hands. I have also decided that I will not tell my son's Dad anything I accomplish in this. He made his lack of assistance perfectly clear. Today is his birthday too, but its my son's call to call him. I doubt he will since he heard everything and is quite pissed off at his Dad. Stupid sperm donor.
Ok then, time cuddle up on my couch!
