Sarada & Sumire Playing 5D Chess
After a 4 month hiatus, a new chapter of Boruto just came out. It is now chapter 1 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. Previous Boruto manga was called Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. With a time skip comes a new title for the manga. Three years have passed, and Boruto has been fighting Code outside of Konoha. Also, most people firmly believe that Kawaki is Naruto's son, except for Sarada and Sumire, who are immune to Eida's abilities.
Sarada and Sumire shared with Eida that they didn't have their memories of Boruto and Kawaki swapped, but they continue to pretend to be in love with Eida. They are still playing games with each other. I think that Eida knew all along that they are not affected by her charm, but she is keeping quiet about this. She also has her brother, Daemon, keep quiet and glare at the two girls when Eida puts the pressure on them to confess they are faking. After Eida put the pressure on them, she paused, and then played along with the notion of the girls still being in love with her.
I think that Eida hopes that they will confess to her that they are pretending. Once they do, Eida would share with them that they are in fact blood relatives of hers, hence the reason why they were unaffected. But for now, Eida lies by saying they are not family members, so the reason why they are unaffected is a mystery. Eida can use the fact that their memories weren't swapped as a means to pressure them to take the first move.
My prediction about Himawari believing her parents are still alive turns out true.
Himawari also believes that Boruto is innocent, and she is training because she wants to help him.
What I think is that Himawari had a crush on Kawaki and loved him so much that even if the whole village were to turn against him, she would want to help him. Except, her memories of Kawaki and Boruto were swapped, so now whatever Himawari felt for Kawaki, she now feels for Boruto. Man, it would be so wierd for Himwari to confess to Boruto that she loves him, just like Hinata did to Naruto during the Pein arc. In actuality, Boruto is Himwari's brother, but HImwari thinks Kawaki is her brother.
I wonder if there will ever be a fix to the memory swap?
