Well, I figure I've left everyone with far too little to read for far too long. So, what do I do? I update. Not that I have much to say, of course.
Let's see. Recapping the summer. At work, I finally got my promotion, so I'm now an Attendent, and my boss is thinking about letting me become a technician. Yay. I get more per hour, but I still make almost no money. Since the school year has started, however, I've worked almost none at all, as I've been so busy, what with Orchestra and Ac Dec in particular.
Speaking of orchestras, I attended the summer strings camp at UT: Arlington over the summer. That was the best experience I've ever had with an orchestra! Fun value = unlimited! I even grew from being a horrible foosball player to being the best in the camp in just the week I was there. Weee! (I'm still horrible at ping pong, though)
In the GHS Honors Orchestra, it appears that I'm the only historian, now, as the Philharmonic Historian has defaulted, or so I've been led to believe. We'll have a website up soon (made by a member of the booster club), and my pictures of the summer swim party, and one of my articles about the beginning of the year, will be on the site. I'll post a link soon.
Let's see. Ac Dec! Phew... if you want to hear about Ac Dec, talk to me personally. I have so much to say (almost all of it is very good, as well) that I can't put it here. Well, actually, I could, but I'm WAY too tired to do so. Ugh.
Moving up to more recent things. As of Friday, September 17th, I turned 18. On that day, I went to the DPS, renewed my lisence, registered to vote, signed up for the Selective Service (ugh), and opened a checking account with my bank. After that, I got home, set some things up, and had a party with Ryan, Susan, and Johnnie from about 4:30 to 10:30 or 11:00. After that, I went to bed. I woke up Saturday at about 11:00, took a shower, picked up Lauren, and dragged her over from about 12:00 to 9:30. Sunday, I had curry for dinner (I love japanese curry). I had what was, in effect, a three day long birthday party. I should turn 18 more often!
I also acquired a nice reserved parking space for myself, if anyone cares ;)
Well, that's all for now. I'll update again eventually, if I'm not so tired...
*salute*
