my wedding date!!!!
Well, my man "B" and I have set a date to get married!!!! We shall tie the knot and unite "through legal document" on May 12 of 2007. This is a Saturday; two days before mothers day! I asked my father to walk me down the isle when I called to tell my parents of the happy news. My mother was asleep so I ended up telling my father and I told my mother the next day. My father said "I'm not going to say yes and I'm not going to say no. We have talk about what's been going on. You two girls (meaning my twin and I) have fucked up ways of thinking and I don't know what the hell goes through your minds. When you come and talk I want it to only be you not have your "boyfriend" tag along. After we talk I'm still not going to say yes and I'm not going to say no."
So, in other words he just wants to talk about the past and my way of thinking/acting (like you can change any of those). Any normal father would be thrilled that his first born getting married for the first and only time would say yes. Or, in his case, would say yes but we need to talk before that date arrives. So, it only seems that he wants me to talk so he can hammer down on my and talk about my past. I'm not going to go talk to him. It seems like the whole act is as what it seems: I go and talk to him to even think about considering walking me down the isle. It's not going to happen!!!!
We still need to work plans out but I think we have a basic understanding of what we want. We WILL get married on that date. :) I'm so excited and very much in love as he reminds me every day. At least I have my twin to support me...that's all that matters.
