Birthday Week!
For most people, one Birthday party is enough, and parties don't happen much when ur over 20...not an opinion I share >:-) My Birthday week started last Saturday when I went clubbing with some friends at Truth.. 3 dance floors, one with amazing hard trance music! Went crazy, and even bumped into a colleague from work.. We spent Sunday morning at work arguing over who was more hung-over.
Sunday night we were at a pool bar, when they decided to close earlier and leave us all on the outside tables to finish our drinks.. now that's just rude, so I decided to compensate by reversing my car up to the entrance, opening my boot and blasting my sound system full volume (as some of you have seen, I have somewhat of a hectic sound system). We partied outside the closed club with my car jamming the music for the next 2 hours =P
Monday went to a friend's place, drank there for a while, then landed up at the local pool bar till the (very) early hours of the morning... Tuesday I figured I was turning 23 at midnight, so of course I was there with a large group of friends drinking flaming lamborghinis! Tonight (Wed 28th) it's my real Birthday...going to a Brazilian party restaurant with about 20 of my better friends. Thursday it's pool league, which sees us parting afterwards as per usual, either celebrating our win for the night or drowning our sorrows after a loss (usually the former ;) ).. either way, always turns out to become a really late night (like 3am a lot of the time).
Friday...it's the big piss-up! The bar owner made me laminated invitations for my Bday party happening there, which is gonna be hectic... everyone vows to put me in a coma with Birthday shooters, so of course Saturday will see me in bed until I have to get up for another night of events =P It's the poker evening, where we chill with booze the whole night playing texas holdem for money. Sunday it's rock climbing, followed by our regular visit to that other pool bar that closed early the Sunday prior =P Yeah, I'm a loud & proud party animal, what can I say? =P Oh yeah, looking forward to pressies... when most people asked what I wanted, my response was simply "anything wolf-ish" :)
