Poll post forbidden

alright, so the fur group that I belong to is suppose to be all the members group not just Starpup, well there are a few other moderators. Yes, that is correct, anything that gets done on the groups site requires approval before anyone else is allowed to see it. When Starpup took over, he applied several rules to the group, most of them were good, and I kinda like them. However, the is one rule that I'm dead set against, and I posted a poll on the group site requesting everyone's oppinion about whether it should be changed (not removed). The poll post was not allowed to go through.

The rule is question is that the group, no matter the event type or function, is to be 18+ only. Now there have been several events that are located in family friendly facilities. When Starpup started making me realise that there were many other furs he knew about that would like to attend, I assisted in setting up fursuit bowling for us. It has a concession stand that is better than most places, like the colliseum, a bar behind closed doors, and an arcade. Now, before anyone gets technical, here's what I think, I agree with the 18+ rule on private hosted parties such as someone's home, however, if the event is in a location where there are likely to already be kids anyway, I see no reason to limit the attendies to 18+. Now also granted that until my daughter does get a little older, it would be idiotic of me to suit with her around at such a place as that, so I'm not asking to suit while I have her with me. I'm just asking that she be allowed to be included in the fun of bowling or swimming with the group at ship island or what not. I will never bring my daughter to a party at someone's home, I had that experience and do not wish to endure such ever again with a kid.

Well that's my rant, and soon, if you've read this, you will know why I'm planning to leave the group.
