Nobody is to tell me how awesome Being Human was!
Because of the usual horrid January confluence of scheduling I won't get to see it until Monday night.
(Because first we have to watch Sky+ed Dancing on Ice. That's for me, Mum and sister. Then we watch Larkrise to Candleford because everyone wants to watch that and it's only me, Mum and Dad that watch being Human. This happened last year as well.)
STILL! It means that Monday-Tuesday night is the epic double-punch of Being Human and Survivors.
(I know I'm probably the only person on my flist that's still watching that show - but I loved it more and more towards the end. Everyone was getting more interesting - with the exception of Julie Graham's Abby - and the series one finale was excellent.
According to SFX the first two episodes of the new series show a marked change of tone to something darker and rougher and more frightening. And the ads do seem to suggest that Tom Price is going to get more psychotic.
ALSO - I feel that many people should watch it just to show the two (2!) reviewers on Amazon what for. Talking about it being a 'PC' remake. Oh - by PC do you mean accurately portraying the current cultural and ethnic make-up of the country? By having a black guy and two Asians and several women in the main cast? A black woman in a position of authority? A lead female character (even if she is incredibly annoying)? Arsing wanking twats that those reviewers are. *sniffs*)
