1. Tonight: Rush sidelined! Will Ensign be investigated? Up Close on Jaycee Dugard.
2. Limbaugh. Has apparently been dropped from the group that were trying to buy the Rams.
I am far too amused.
Man. Seriously? Three Talking Heads - Stephen A. Smith, Rev. Al Sharpton and McGraw Milhaven.
Milhaven instantly loses by referring to what's "happened" to Rush as a "hi-tech lynching" in front of two black guys. Epic race!fail.
3. You'll notice that, even though it ran either side of a break, I didn't bother covering that story. Because it is a non-story.
Anyway: Next Story - the Texas Governor Execution Cover-up Shenanigans.
Rick Perry spoke out, finally. Looks a bit like he may have been ambushed - he...pretty much just spoke in lines.
Randi Kaye joins us to tell us about a key witness who was supposed to testify. He's calling on the investigators to resign until those that were removed are reinstated.
ETA: And some more people to talk about it. The executed man's step-mother. A reporter from Texas.
4. Erica's Bulletin: Obama meets for three hours over Afghanistan. WSJ reports banks paying staff a lot of money or something IDK. NYSE - Dow closes over 10,000. Mass wedding! in South Korea.
5. Politicians Behaving Badly: Senator Ensign (R-Nevada) did bad, bad things.
Hee. They start the item by playing Dana Bash ambushing him the other week.
Joe Johns brings us up to date. ETA: And also Stanley Brand. To talk about. Whatever.
6. Okaaaaaay. Random from CNNI, here. They've thrown to Pauline Chou at World Report to re-run headlines and things.
Soooo, Jaycee Dugard - here's
themistoklis:
They are showing Jaycee's magazine cover -- Erica is doing the story. Umm quoting about how Jaycee wanted to thank the public for their support, sharing a statement she gave out to the press. Now Erica and Andy are talking about Erica having an interview with the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Going well so far but a lifelong recovery process
The kids are also going to school, and the family released the photos themselves to stem off more avid people. Now we've got a child psychiatrist and Ed Smart (Elizabeth Smart's dad).
7. Seriously. That was weird. I guess it must have had something to do with Jaycee Dugard? Very strange.
We are back with AC360 - Crime & Punishment about two deaths, people who died in a Sweat Lodge, at a New Age retreat. Gary Tuchman brings us the report.
ETA: Also live hit from Tuchman. Nice.
8. No Shot again tonight. I blame Andy for not wrangling his Talking Heads very well.
