Gardening Geekdom
I need to get to my p-patch and see if the greenleaf lettuce is going to make it.
I think that my snap pea is doing well, although it is going to need to be trelised soon.
I straight sowed some basil, which I have since learned is a big no-no. I hope that the mesculin, spinach and cilantro will work out. Gotta go check.
My tomatoes bought at the Tilth are getting larger, but since it was fra-fra-freezing this morning I am scared to plant them, or the cayenne pepper. The buttercrunch lettuce is going to start throwing things at me if it doesn't get in the garden soon. I am going to try trellising some cherry tomatoes so that they will be right outside my door.
It seems that my blue lake beans were planted upside down, (who knew they have a up and a down?!?!) I think that might be why only three of them have sprouted so far.
I'm about to give up on the parsley seeds. They haven't done a thing. Which I could say the same about the Kohlrabi. I think I have about 50 sprouts of that.... hope some of my fellow gardeners will want some.
