The head of a new Jesus statue is hoisted by a crane at Solid Rock Church in Monroe, Ohio. The statue is to replace another one that was destroyed by lightning in 2010.
A statue of Jesus Christ lies on its side on near St John's School in Orange, New Jersey, after it was toppled during a storm. The statue was about 25 years old and was a replacement for the school's original statue, which also was toppled in a storm.
