Hello, end of November.
I feel anxiety in my bones.
My bandwidth is being devoured.
I need to do a major LJ cleanup.
Or can I just make a new photobucket account?
Before that, the last bits of art vomit for Sketchvember.
And then, some sleep.
My life is extremely unhealthy at this point.
NOIR
"Against the black, black sky- you can see the bright, bright stars."
original version, done with tissue and paint and gauze.
He takes great care in his dressing, this boy. This is a suit called 'Polaris"- because the white speckles look like stars. A little bit. In the DA version I changed his clothes to black and white because it fits his defining traits more.
But it was fun doing the colourful version too!
It calms me down, just painting, cutting, pasting...creating in general....it calms me down.
Drawing Noir....I realize that he's very inconsistent, because his hair is supposed to be longer.
Oh well.
Random, but I know next to nothing about fashion- but I don't think you can go wrong in a formal suit. So I enjoy drawing Noir's clothes a lot.
CAPTAIN BOY, CAPTAIN GIRL
Something I drew for
kou_chann . Thank you again for asking me ! I hope the book's publishing/sales went well.
Someday I want to illustrate romance novels hahahaha.
SASUNARU
Once upon a time. I was obsessed.
Every now and then I like to revisit my previous geekery.
But Naruto will always have a place in my heart, regardless. Along with SasuNaru. Or NaruSasu. Does it matter? Not really. And KakaIru. The most recent Shippudden episodes are full of KakaIru fanservice!
Funny how slash pairings happen. All it took was Iruka blushing at Kakashi for a fraction too long and baaaammmm they're the most popular slash pairing in Naruto, even though Iruka hardly appears. And when he does, he doesn't really do much other than offer fatherly/motherly advice to Naruto, look pretty, and...occasionally get rescued. By Kakashi, no less. Wait...
ONE PIECE
And here we have my latest obsession.
I want to draw ZoSan doujins! I have another project to finish first... ..but
I still want to draw them!! /stubborn/
Sanji: Marimo- bang!
Zoro: Ero-cook, boom!
Sanji: It's bang, you idiot. Get the sound effects right.
Zoro: I'm using a canon.
Sanji:....If the way your fingers are posed indicates a canon, then I'm using a rocket launcher.
Zoro: Boom.
Sanji:.......
When I draw Sanji, I want to dress him in low cut shirts. I'm very sorry Oda, I see him as metrosexual. It's only because you dress him in pinks too often.
Zoro: Cook, you're too thin! Look! My haramaki can be wound at least 2 rounds around your waist!
Sanji; Oh? Watch your hand, pervert marimo. Besides, it's only because your haramaki is so ridiculously long. I've always wanted to tell you this- but it looks like you've glued a green tyre around your waist.
Zoro: Cooks shouldn't be this thin!
Sanji: You'd rather me be a fat, obese cook?
Zoro: A fat obese cook is still the ero-cook.
Sanji: I would kick you if that didn't sound somewhat romantic.
I want to see Sanji wear Zoro's haramaki canonly. And I want to see Zoro wrapping it around Sanji.
To me, lovers who dress each other share an intimacy which is beautiful, sweet, and pure.
THE WRONG RORONOA
because his scars and hand position are all wrong....
ATTRACTIVE BENT GENDER
Sanji: Whoa! I'm pretty hot as a girl!
Zoro: That's not the priority here, stupid cook!
If Ivankov ever turned Sanji into a woman, I can imagine Sanji nosebleeding at his own reflection.
To be fair on him, his girl version is
pretty darned cute. Zoro: Heavy....
Sanji: M..marimo! Don't act so indecently!
Usopp: Why are you nosebleeding...
Zoro's only concern would be "them" getting in the way of his sword practice.
I don't like drawing Luffy- his eyes are extremely difficult to get right. Too big and he looks like a deranged moe. Too small and he doesn't look Luffy-ish anymore.
But he's adorable, so he gets a drawing on his own.
OP DOUJIN
a GEN doujin I'm working on.
I want to draw an Inception doujin after this..
And then...the comic...and that comic...
I want to keep drawing comics, these days, much to the annoyance of my watchers, I think!
But still, to me- comics are one of the finest forms of art.
Because people aren't puppets for you to pose.
People should move, dance, laugh, cry-
and tell their stories.
fyi these pages are not the finished versions.
Alright, that's all for now!
I thank you for stopping by.
Happy End of November!
Father, mother...forgive this useless child. OTL
