I love your recaps. You capture exactly what I like too about the movies, but you put them in words so much nicer. (And many pics too swoon over) :)
This movie is my favourite too and I adore the art there as well as the main theme of nakama. And I too was awed at the landscapes in this movie, the city is pure awesomeness. And you captured the dynamic between Zoro and Sanji also nicely. Of course this movie is a goodie for every fan, but you said it well that in between their bickering and hurling insults their deep trust in each other is a bit lost, but ah well! :D As to this sound Sanji makes after he tried to search for Robin, this was to mentioned in a Douji I read, that‘s so hilarious, it is like everyone is cracking up about that. :D And last: I found some Sketches of the frames they used in this films and a bunch of them is of Zoro and Sanji‘s fight when they frap each others collar, it was only then that I realised, that they are reaaaally too close for normal fighting there. soo suspicious. :D
So, I finish here as I could be nodding the whole time I read your entry here. :D
Sorry, for being so late! No time and I had to search for those movie 6 sketches and frames for a bit, but of course I ll give them to you, you should be able to download them with the following link:http://rapidshare.com/files/373055198/M6_Omatsuri.zip Enjoy! I loved them so much, the cover speaks for itself and picture nr. 122 is also veeery nice. :D
And you are welcome of course and btw. you are not by any chance from germany? :)
hey, thanks for the link! I downloaded the thing and was pretty much SMILING throughout the whole thing ! I just LOVE looking at pre-production sketches. And those ZoSan drawings look even gayer in sketch form, ahah! It really looks like they're kissing XD Thank you so much again!
No problem! :D I like it if other people can enjoy these too, so yeah! :D I love sketches and stuff and those frames even more, I think your really can see the fluidity and fun in the movement there. And yes, I think a person, who was involved in the making of this film has a slight thing for Zosan. :D
Oh wow, how the hell was I thinking you were german? xD
btw. as we are talking about sketches etc. I love your drawings. :)
haha, its alright- that happens sometimes :) And thank you so much, your comment flatters me !
Hoho, I think so too! Do you notice that most illustrations have Zoro Sanji in close proximity to each other? I think that everyone sat down around the table and started saying, "Look, if we can, let's try and animate Zoro and Sanji together as much as possible."

oh, high five! Someone who enjoys the art too! I adore this movie so much, it's such a lovely addition to the OP universe.
And I think I read that doujin too- but I forgot which one it was! Also, would it be alright if I could see the frames as well? They sound so lovely !
Thank you again :)
